According to Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report, David West is “very likely” to sign with the New York Knicks in free agency.
The Knicks obviously need a lot of pieces, so getting a solid power forward would be a good move. David West has shown to be a tough, hard nosed in player in Indiana and he could really help out the Knicks. New York, who also drafted Kristaps Porzingis, will need someone who can get big on the low post and play some defense as well.
West is a piece of the rebuild if he does end up signing in New York, but he’s only one out of many that the Knicks need.
