Recent reports have indicated that we may not know where Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade will be playing basketball next year, but fans do know that Wade will be in the Bay Area next week.

The Associated Press reports that Wade will be joining the NBA on ABC as a broadcaster for several games of the upcoming NBA Finals.

The three-time NBA champion will join ESPN on ABC for pregame and halftime shows during Games 2 and 3 of the Cleveland-Golden State series. Wade also will have the same arrangement for Games 6 and 7 if those games are played.

It’ll be interesting to hear Wade, a former teammate of LeBron James and one of James’ best friends, give his input on the championship round. Wade and James advanced to four straight NBA Finals during their time together as teammates, winning two of those series in consecutive fashion.

Wade will most likely be asked about his contract situation with the Heat, so it’ll be interesting to see if he issues a generic response or one that will shed some more light on the situation.

Whatever the case may be, I just hope we get to see Wade react like this again. Good times.
