Craig Sager will make his return to the NBA on TNT next Thursday.
Acute leukemia has kept Turner Sports’ Craig Sager away from the NBA on TNT since last April, and the broadcasts haven’t been the same without Sager’s vibrant suits and his comedic interviews with San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.
Well, the basketball world got very exciting news on Wednesday, when Craig Sager Jr. announced via Twitter that his father would be making his return to the sideline next Thursday when the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Chicago Bulls.

Hoops fans are going to be excited to see Sager return and rightfully so. He’s been a mainstay on the NBA on TNT for nearly two decades, and it was disheartening to have him absent during last year’s NBA Playoffs. Everyone is sure to welcome Sager back with open arms.
