This week on The Atlantic Files, Alex and Mike welcome a fellow Basketball Society brother and special guest, Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson of Scoop B Radio. Taking a one week break from the “Looking Around the League” series, Alex, Mike, and Scoop talk about all of the reports concerning Jimmy Butler and others that Scoop has been dropping lately.

Jimmy Butler has been a hot topic for the last couple of weeks. When he originally requested a trade out of Minnesota, he listed two teams in the Atlantic as part of his “wish list.” The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks fans began to get a little excited, but then the conversations quickly turned away from New York in general and went towards contenders. That’s where Scoop B comes in with his report that the Houston Rockets became the frontrunners in trading for Butler.

On top of reporting on the Butler trade, Scoop also spoke with the likes of Jamal Crawford recently who still happens to be a free agent. Crawford has been tied to the Philadelphia 76ers and, most recently, the Boston Celtics. Two teams that could instantly take another step up with a proven sixth man coming off of the bench.

Finally, the guys talk about Scoop’s report in the offseason about LeBron James heading to the Los Angeles Lakers and of course, Space Jam 2.
