Sixers Fans And Players Should Be Excited About The New Practice Facility

The Philadelphia Sixers unveiled their new Camden training complex Friday morning with team owner Josh Harris. This place is absolutely huge and Sixers fans should be excited for the players who are about to be working in that facility every single day to get better. It also has Sixers history written all over and through out the practice facility including the reception desk that is made of the wood from the basketball court of Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game. Until now, the Sixers were the only team in the NBA not to own a practice facility.

The Sixers players themselves should be excited or any player that comes into the building to visit should be excited. Especially when you have two NBA regulation-size basketball courts, a 2,800 square foot player locker room, high-tech performance, wellness, recovery, and hydrotherapy rooms and finally a players’ restaurant. All of these things will help especially when bringing in potential free agents and potential draft candidates that come in to work out before the draft. This especially speaks high on free agents since the Sixers didn’t own a practice facility before. These potential free agents want to see what the team has to offer other than just money and see where they can become better players.

We believe we have the best training complex in pro sports right now – Brett Brown

Lastly, the Sixers fans should be excited about this building too because it shows that this team and the front office is going full steam ahead. They are trying their best to get better and with this facility itself it just shows they are trying. These fans have been waiting and waiting for this team to turn the corner and be great again. The Sixers fans know this season is very important and this is the start of it.
