Malachi Flynn and San Diego State were upset by UNLV just a week ago in their first loss of the season. March is approaching quickly and a team like San Diego State that is vying for the national title needs to be on their A game. They were certainly not on their A game tonight. But, one man was.

That man was Malachi Flynn.

He was torching Nevada all night long and kept the team in it as Jalen Harris was heating up from deep. Nevada controlled for most of the game, but Malachi Flynn would not let them get the win.

Malachi was able to score inside the lane, from deep, and in the mid-range. He kept utilizing picks so well and was getting easy buckets all night long when he got just a bit of space.

Check out most of his buckets he hit tonight below in route to a career high 36 points for him:

Flynn had a terrific night in what was a historic night for San Diego State as they officially finish 28-1 in the regular season this year. Next up is the Mountain West Tournament where they will be heavy favorites.

Malachi will be aiming to be a selection in the 2020 NBA Draft, but the Aztecs are not done and have higher goals set this season.
