VIDEO: Klay Thompson enjoys a 40-point Easter

The Golden State Warriors, the best team in the league with a 66-7 record, took on the Philadelphia 76ers, the worst team in the league with a 9-65 record, on Easter Sunday. So, fans coming out to this game in Oakland knew they were in for a fun game filled with tons of Warriors fireworks. Not wanting to disappoint, Klay Thompson decided to come out and drop 40 points on 15-27 from the field and 7-14 from three.

Of course, everyone expects the Warriors to make easy work of the 76ers, but we all saw what happens when they take the 76ers too lightly. This time, they weren’t going to let the game come down to a last second three from Harrison Barnes. Draymond Green cashed in another triple-double(13 pts, 11 reb, 11 ast), and Steph Curry also added 20 points and 8 assists to the mix.
