Tim Frazier Made History For The Pelicans

No Jrue Holiday. No Eric Gordon. No Anthony Davis. No Tyreke Evans. No Ryan Anderson. No Norris Cole. No Alonzo Gee. No Bryce Dejean-Jones. No Quincy Pondexter.

That’s where the Pelicans are at now. There’s hardly anyone on that Pelicans roster right now that will be playing any significant time for the team next year. If you are like me, having not watched too many Pelicans games, you’re probably even wondering who’s controlling the ball and making things happen on the team. Well, yesterday against the Nets, there was one man who led this team, Tim Frazier.

Tim Frazier came off the bench for the Pelicans yesterday and scored 19 points and recorded 13 assists. Tim Frazier became the first reserve since Chris Duhon in 2008 to record at least 13 assists without turning over the ball in a game. There are only 15 other players, besides Frazier, who have done it in the past.

The Pelicans have 6 games left on the season. If Tim Frazier can continue to have games like this one, you can bet he’ll have a place in this league for a long time.
