The Mustache Bros of the Oklahoma City Thunder are quietly having great postseasons for the Thunder. Steven Adams is averaging a double-double, 10.7 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per game. Enes Kanter is averaging 11.3 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game off the bench. Together, Kanter and Adams are shooting 60.7 percent from the floor while doing a lot of work on the glass as well. Combined they are averaging 17.3 rebounds per game, 6.6 rebounds are coming off of the offensive glass.
Adams has solidified his spot in the Thunder’s starting line-up. He is shooting 66.2 percent from the field and averaging 10 and 10. In game one of the Western Conference Finals Adams contributed 16 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks. The offensive part of the mustache bros. finished third in the voting for the Sixth Man of the Year with 19 first place votes. Kanter was one of the best big man to come off the bench this year. Kanter has been one of the best bench players all year and he is continuing that in the playoffs. Kanter put in a nice game with 8 point, 6 rebounds and added a block and steal as well.
Adams and Kanter have been very valuable to the Thunder this year. Adams is the gut that does a lot of the dirty work and plays good, solid defense. Kanter is the yin to his yang and by that I mean Kanter has all the offensive skills that Adams lacks. Together they are the “Stache Bros.”
