On Tuesday, the NBA announced that C.J. Watson was fined $5,000 for violating the flopping rule for the second time this season.
It’s pretty obvious how the league caught this flop attempt when you watch the replay. Rudy Gobert seemed to just nudge Watson to get a rebound and then Watson proceeded to fling himself a few feet just to try to get the foul call. He may have gotten the foul he was looking for, but was it really worth $5,000?
Watson and the Pacers head the Oracle to face Golden State on Wednesday night.
