Los Angeles Lakers youngster Julius Randle dropped his first career triple-double in a 105-116 loss to the Denver Nuggets, as he put up 13 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists.

What impresses me is the fact that Randle, who has shown an unwillingness to pass dating all the way back to the beginning of this season, managed to tally ten assists.

If Randle’s game continues to mature these triple-doubles can become a commonality. His 10.3 rebounds per game is 8th best in the league, and if he becomes an improved jump shooter and playmaker he’ll be flirting with triple-doubles on a consistent basis.
