Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, known as also the “Greek Freak” due to his lengthy surname, was suspended for the Bucks’ season-opener against the New York Knicks  due to a nasty hit he put on the Chicago Bulls’ Mike Dunleavy during the two teams’ first-round playoff matchup last postseason, but Antetokounmpo returned to the court on Friday night against the Washington Wizards and he did not disappoint.

Despite the loss, Antetokounmpo put up 27 points, nine rebounds and two assists, an impressive showing for his first game of the season. He also pulverized Wizards big-man Nene with this huge and-one poster slam. Impressive stuff from the 20-year-old.

The Bucks dropped the contest 118-113, but Giannis showed why this season may be the one in which he breaks out.
