It’s Transformation Tuesday folks, and no one player or team has transformed (for the better) like the Detroit Pistons in the past week. Since releasing Josh Smith on December 23rd, the Pistons have won their past five games by an average of 16 points. Furthermore, Detroit has increased their scoring by nearly 15 points per game and allowed around 10 points fewer in the same stretch.
Is this merely a fluke? Will Detroit suffer another Motor City meltdown and return to their losing ways? We’ll find out during their upcoming three-game tilt against the Spurs, Mavericks, and Hawks.
