Team USA cuts list of finalists down to 30 for 2016 Olympic roster

Before today, Team USA had 35 players on tap for mini-camp to compete for a spot in the 2016 Rio Olympics (they started with 34, but since added Andre Iguodala). 

They’ve announced today the list has been cut down to 30 finalists to make the 12-man roster:

  • Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors)
  • Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans)

  • Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder)
  • Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets)

The five cuts include Michael Carter-Williams, Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, Chandler Parsons, and Mason Plumlee.

Team USA will pick a final roster in late June.
