The Golden State Warriors are on the verge of something special this year. Something so special, that only one team has been able to match their historic season to this point. The 1996 Chicago Bulls went 72-10 and the Warriors are envisioning a 73-9 season, something no team has ever done.

One ex-Bull has something to say when he hears that this years Warriors team is the best ever. When interviewed by Paul Pabst of the Dan Patrick Show, Scottie Pippen explained how well they would match up with this years Warriors team.

It is fun to imagine what it would be like to see a 7 game series between the 72-10 Bulls versus this years Warriors. It would be a match-up unlike any other. The Bulls went on to win a title that season with two more coming in the following two seasons. The Warriors are capable of something similar, but someone named LeBron James will have something to say about that first.
