During last night’s NBA draft, the Denver Nuggets selected Emmanuel Mudiay with the 7th pick and Nuggets guard, Ty Lawson felt a certain way about it. Quickly after the pick, Lawson posted a video stating, “I’m going to Sacramento.”
Like most videos in today’s world, it went viral and made its’ way all around social media. Of course Nuggets GM, Tim Connelly got a hold of the video and when asked about it, he stated this:
What does this mean for @TyLawson3? Tim Connelly: “Nothing.”

Connelly said he wasn’t initially aware of Lawson’s video tonight. But then Connelly’s phone blew up.

Tim Connelly on Ty Lawson: “I think there’s often times poor judgment used by all of our players.”

Do you think Ty Lawson is trying to force your hand? Tim Connelly: “No. I don’t.”

We have a sticky situation here in Denver. It’s always a weird scenario when you have a player expressing his feelings about wanting to leave his team. Now the ball is in Connelly’s court to figure out what to do with Lawson. His mind set is already set on Sacramento, but what will Denver’s management do?
