VIDEO: Nico Johnson (Class of 2017) Junior Season Highlights

Nico Johnson is the lead guard for Danville High School in Illinois. He’ll be a senior this coming fall. Nico is like my little cousin. His mother played college ball at Rutgers University which is how I met him.

Nico is a dynamic guard with great quickness and an ability to finish at the rim with either hand. He has good feel, touch, and creativity around the basket and in the open floor. His jump shot is smooth and confident. A complete combo guard, Nico Johnson is one name you’ll probably see more of the next couple of years.
