Basketball Society’s Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson talks LeBron James on Mouthpiece Sports. Press Play Below To Listen
The digital avenue has been kind to NBA superstar LeBron James. With the Cleveland Cavaliers forward having until June 29th to opt in or opt out of his current contract with his current team all eyes will be on “The King.”
Here’s something that you may want to pay attention to in the next couple of weeks as you’re looking for some sort of announcement from James’ decision.
Recently, Instagram launched Instagram TV. What is that, you ask??
According to Tech Crunch’s Josh Constine, Instagram is ready to compete with Youtube with their Instagram TV.
Instagram rolled out Instagram TV, abbreviated as IGTV, to its one billion users worldwide.
The service, available as an app, allows users to watch and share longer videos – up to an hour long.
“It’s time for video to move forward, and evolve,” said Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom onstage at the event. “IGTV is for watching long-from videos from your favorite creators.” Just before he took the stage, Instagram’s business blog outed details of IGTV.
This is one of the platform’s strongest points as Instagram currently limits users to share 3-60-second-long videos on the platform.
Why does this matter? Well, I’m told that LeBron James will use his Uninterrupted to make his decision.
In addition, once James announces his decision, he will utilize the Instagram TV app to launch a trailer and/or a documentary for his Space Jam 2 that we’ve waited forever and a day to see.
For those keeping score at home, Warner Bros. announced in May 2016 that a sequel is in the works.
I was also told that LeBron James had to let some of his sponsors know where he would be going.
The reasoning behind it is that the contents of this said trailer will state where the King is actually going.
The person who informed me of this supposed trailer also indicated what team the King is going to.
Stay tuned.
