The Chicago Bulls have been hit with two big injuries within the past week. Their first major injury was Derrick Rose tearing the meniscus in his right knee for a second year in a row. The good news news is that he will only miss four to six weeks.
They have received some more, as starting shooting guard Jimmy Butler will miss at least three weeks with an elbow injury. Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted the news on Butler:
Chicago’s Jimmy Butler could miss 3-4 weeks with elbow sprain, but won’t need surgery, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

This is a major blow to Chicago. They have important games coming up that include the likes of Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Memphis in a time where they are trying to maintain the third seed in the Eastern Conference. In the meantime, they are going to have to suffice with the likes of Kirk Hinrich, E’Twaun Moore, and Tony Snell picking up where Butler left off. Jimmy Butler is averaging 20.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
