St. Francis of PA got off to a rough start in Northeast Conference play with a loss to Bryant, but they had since rattled off three wins in a row coming into today’s matchup with Fairleigh Dickinson. Their leading scorer on the year (by points per game), Isaiah Blackmon, has been a huge catalyst to the team earning themselves an early record of 10-5 on the season.

Today was no different as Blackmon stood out in a big way. He had a team leading 25 points on 6/11 shooting from the field, 3/6 from deep, and hit all 10 of his free throws at the line.

In the first half, Blackmon wasn’t too aggressive and only had two points. Things changed in that second half where he scored the remaining 23 to get him to 25 on the night.

Check out some of the shots he hit below:

He led the team to a 100-85 win over Fairleigh Dickinson and a 4-1 record in conference now.

Isaiah Blackmon is a senior who will more than likely look to play some pro ball after his time is done with St. Francis. He has the shot and the athleticism to be able to pay in most places. He’s got such a pure three point shot that I wouldn’t be too surprised if he happens to get an invite to PIT to show NBA teams what he can do.
