When it comes to becoming the best basketball player that you can be, are you willing to do whatever it takes? Many want to be the best, but they’re not all willing to put in the time and effort. When you think about the elite class of players such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James you always hear the terms dedication and hard work come up. Mainly because that’s what they’ve consistently done to be at the top of the mountain.

Late nights and early mornings — eat, sleep, and breathe basketball. Nothing in this world is given to you. If you want to be great, if you want the recognition, it’s on you to go out there and get it done every day. Damian Lillard said it best:

It’s all about what you do when no one is watching. The great ones put the work in no matter the time, day, or the weather. What makes the great ones great is that even when they’re at the top of their game, they are still striving to learn and get better.

Wake up every day with a mindset of how can I better myself and better my game. Grind and work hard to become the best player you can be. Stay positive and elevate your game.
