Full Recap Of All NBA Trade Deadline Deals

Missed any of the action from today’s NBA Trade Deadline? Check out all of the transactions that went down below:

First, it was Jarnell Stokes who was dealt to the Pelicans in exchange for a protected pick.

Next came the Pistons making their second big move this week in acquiring Marcus Thornton and Donatas Motiejunas from Houston.

The Cavs were desperately looking to deal for a perimeter scorer and ended up stealing Channing Frye from the Clippers who had been feverishly trying to pry him from the Magic.

The Utah Jazz, after being told that Jeff Teague was off the table, decided to acquire a different point guard from the Hawks, Shelvin Mack. Mack will be reuniting with Gordon Hayward for the first time since they had both played at Butler together.

The Thunder didn’t fail to make a big splash before the NBA Trade Deadline once again as they acquired Randy Foye from the Denver Nuggets.

Not too long after, the Heat made their second deal in just a couple hours by shipping Brian Roberts to Portland. This move officially put them below the luxury tax.

As the deadline was nearing and all of us basketball heads were about to turn off our phones and take a nap, the biggest trade of the day happened:

DeJuan Blair and Kris Humphries were also involved as they were moved to Phoenix.

Still, that wouldn’t be it for the deals as Chicago, Utah, and Atlanta had agreed on a trade which involved Justin Holday going to Chicago and Hinrich going to Atlanta.

Then, a little after 3 PM EST, the newly appointed most interesting trade of the day was announced. The Clippers got a big time small forward that gives their offense a major boost. The Grizzlies would also get a 2018 protected 1st-round pick in the deal.

And finally, the last trade of the day was made by none other than Sam Hinkie of the Philadelphia 76ers. And what did he get in the trade? You guessed it, a 2nd round pick.

How fitting.
