Andrew Wiggins was doing it all last night, hitting the three ball, getting out in transition, and even putting his defenders in a spin cycle and throwing down the jam. He ended the night with a game high of 31 points, shooting 4 for 5 from the three point line.
This is the type of performance that I would like to see from Wiggins on a night to night basis. He’s tremendously talented, and I think he has the capability of taking over the league in years to come. However, my only strife against him is that he’s not aggressive enough at times and that can take away from his full potential. It also doesn’t help that he’s shooting poorly thus far this season, averaging 17.2 points a game on 17 shots at a percentage of 32.9. But he has what it takes, he just needs that killer instinct that we’ve seen from some of the best scorers in the league, which will ultimately elevate him into that realm, as well as benefit his team.
