Beal & Wall

According to Shawn Krest of CBS Sports, Wizards’ coach Randy Wittman is confident that John Wall and Bradley Beal will be in Washington for a while.

Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post was the first to report on Wittman’s comment:

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as these two are the main core of the team. They are both growing by leaps and bounds together and they have been in the conversation of best backcourt in the NBA. The Wizards were a split second away from forcing overtime in game six and maybe even a game seven against the Atlanta Hawks. Now, they’re back home again and facing a quite important offseason.

John Wall averaged 17.6 points and 10 assists per game this season while Bradley Beal averaged 15.3 points, 3.1 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game.
