According to Sean d’Oliveira of CBS Sports, Kentucky’s Willie Cauley-Stein is leaning towards entering the NBA draft this coming offseason.

Kentucky who was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, knew they were going to lose a good amount of their team. A lot of them are “one-and-done” players, but Cauley-Stein seems to have decided to forego his Senior year and declare for the NBA draft as well. Via Louisville’s Courier-Journal:

“It’s time to take another step,” Cauley-Stein said. “I mean, obviously, I’m not 100 percent on it, but I’m pretty sure I know what I want to do. Got to talk to a couple more people, but probably was my last game here.”

If Cauley-Stein came into the NBA with a chip on his shoulder, it would not be surprising. Assuming he does make the jump, that means his last game in the NCAA was a 2 point, 5 rebound, 2 block performance against Wisconsin. Willie Cauley-Stein is currently ranked as sixth on CBS Sports’ big board for the 2015 NBA draft, and a lot of his teammates will most likely go in the first round as well.
