Jenkins was not to be out done by Paige and he won the Villanova Wildcats their first national title since 1985.

This may have been the best title game in college sports history. The game winning finish was the first in the NCAA National Championship game since Jimmy Valvano and his NC State Wolfpack did it in 1983.
