Victor Oladipo could do no wrong against the Cleveland Cavaliers as he dropped a big 45 points. Everything was falling; shooting 16-22 from the field and 6-7 from the three. However, his big night didn’t lead to a win as the Cavaliers came out on top down the stretch, 109-103. Only two other Orlando players scored in double figures as Oladipo held most of the scoring load, but that became a problem as Cleveland clamped down on the hot hand and denied him the ball, late in the fourth quarter.  The Cavaliers’ defense played him tight and only allowed him three shots in the last quarter of the game.

It was an all-around game for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they got contribution all across the board. Kyrie Irving led the team in scoring with 26 points and 5 assists, but he also got help from LeBron James who had 18 points and Kevin Love with 14 points. Channing Frye had a solid night as well against his former team, coming off the bench with 14 points, shooting 4-6 from the three point line. With this win, the Cleveland Cavaliers improved their record to 49-19, clinching their playoff berth.
