Shareef O’Neal and Ron Artest III battled on the court in a match-up between Crossroads and Beverly Hills at the Ron Massey Classic in Southern California. The game ended with a O’Neal and the Crossroads winning as he put up 18 points and Artest III had 14 of his own. With this being a battle between the offspring of two prominent figures of the NBA, this game gained some publicity.

Shareef O’Neal, who’s highlights have been displayed all across the internet, is a top 20 prospect in the class of 2018. At the age of 16, standing at 6’8, O’Neal has a game that’s completely different from that of his Hall-of-Fame father. He displayed his talents against Artest III shooting the deep ball, getting out on the break, and protecting the rim. Ron Artest III has been gaining traction in his basketball career, becoming a top 100 prospect at his position. There’s a few more parts to his game that needs polishing but there’s no doubt in my mind that the potential is there. Being the son of the animal that was Metta World Peace, if he channels that same fight his dad had, he could be a problem in years to come.
