i-3The Milwaukee Bucks squared off against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, a game with playoff implications as the struggling Bucks entered the contest clinging to a 1.5 game lead over the Heat for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.

After playing a tightly contested first half, Miami used a third quarter run to establish a 13 point lead and it looked as if they were headed to a big-time victory.

The Bucks however, had other plans, as they reeled off 14 consecutive points before tying the game at 85-85 with 1:20 left. Then, with 10.8 seconds left in the 4th and Milwaukee down by two, Jerryd Bayless and Michael Beasley squared off for a jump ball, that was surprisingly won by the much smaller Bayless.

Bayless then missed on his game-tying layup attempt, but Zaza Pachulia corralled the rebound and prevented it from going out-of-bounds by flipping to Khris Middleton on the wing with one second left. The result? Khris “Money” Middleton cashed out for the Bucks.

The buzzer-beater was Middleton’s second of the season, and both were definitely of the absurd fashion. Middleton, an unrestricted free agent this summer, will definitely be cashing out again in free agency, as he’s proven to be a quality NBA wing with solid defensive ability and a sweet shooting stroke.
