Dennis Smith Jr. threw down a NASTY poster jam during Nike EYBL in Houston.

Trinity Christian School’s Dennis Smith is a baller. Smith is considered by some to be the number one junior point guard in the nation, and he’s received a slew of scholarship offers from the likes of Arizona, Duke, Florida, Kansas and North Carolina. Smith normally doesn’t participate in the Nike EYBL Games (he’s an Adidas guy,) but Adidas had the weekend off, so he decided to terrorize some of his cohorts down in Houston.

Smith suited up for Team Penny in the Nike EYBL, and introduced himself to those in Texas with this violent baseline poster slam.

Smith finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 22 minutes of action, as limited touches and an injury he apparently sustained in the 2nd half hindered his ability to make his true impact felt. This is still impressive stuff from the Class of 2016 point guard, and it’ll be interesting to see where he chooses to take his talents at the collegiate level.
