VIDEO: D’Angelo Russell drops 25 points in the first half vs. Minnesota

Ohio State freshman D’Angelo Russell has broken out in a major way this season, including a 32-point game in his third ever college game against Sacred Heart, but maybe none more than his first half in the Buckeyes’ Big 10 opener against Minnesota.

Russell’s first half stats: 25 points on 10-for-12 shooting from the field and 5-for-5 from three. His elusive and seemingly boundless scoring arsenal was on complete display throughout the half, hitting shots off the catch and even tougher ones off the dribble.

If you didn’t know the name D’Angelo Russell, you know it now, and should probably get used to hearing it.
