Kobe Bryant’s 81-Point Game is arguably the best performance on record from a professional standpoint (there is no recorded footage of Wilt Chamberlain’s NBA record 100-Point game against the New York Knicks on March 2nd, 1962). Basketball players alike have dreamed of matching Wilt’s 100-Point game, yet few have accomplished the feat.

Wagner, widely recognized as the best prep player in New Jersey History, shot an absurd 42-60 from the field (10-15 from 3 PT Range). An average of 42.5 PPG his senior year en route to amassing 3,462 points in his career at Camden High, Dajuan Wagner propelled himself all the way to the NBA before sickness and injuries derailed his promising career. There will forever be a multitude of what ifs attached to Wagner. One can only dream of what Wagner and LeBron James (drafted a year later in 2003) could’ve done together in Northeast Ohio. Fortunately for the Cavs, they struck gold again years later with another flashy guard out of New Jersey in Kyrie Irving.
