The 1998-1999 New York Knicks were one scrappy bunch.

After struggling through the first half of a lockout-shortened season, this ragtag Knickerbocker squad somehow managed to squeak into the playoffs as an eighth-seed and make it all the way to the Finals – before getting wiped up by the San Antonio Spurs.

However, even though their incredible journey was cut short in the end, Latrell Sprewell and the underdog Knicks had their fair share of classic playoff moments. Case in point, check out Allan Houston’s timeless series-winning floater against the Miami Heat, followed by one epic fist pump:
