The Breakdown:

Bradley Beal is amongst the top shooting guards that we have in the league today. Entering the 6th season of his career, he’s consistently gotten better and better over the years. However, injuries have held him back from even reaching higher. Beal hasn’t completed a full season yet but he’s coming off his best season health and stats wise. He played and started in 77 games averaging 23.1 points per game shooting .482 from the field and .404 from behind the arc.

Bradley Beal’s game has transcended the description of just being a shooter. His ability to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot has gotten much better over the years. He has become more fluid and versatile as a scorer. He’s continuously working on his moves and he seems to have a lot in store if you watch any of his off-season workout videos.

Shooting the outside ball is something that we expect to see Bradley Beal excel at. His mechanics are ‘A1’ with great balance, form, and a quick release. The numbers from the past season reflect that. In 3-pointers made, Bradley Beal was ranked 7th with 240 on the season. And against his constituents above him in that category, he was ranked 3rd in percentage only behind Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Beal has benefited from playing alongside the self-proclaimed best two-way point guard in the league in John Wall. He’s someone who loves to get others involved and allows his teammates to get going. Their relationship has been on the rocky side with a lot of questions of if they got along in the media but they’ve seen to put that to the side and have solely focused on playing ball. The Washington Wizards are looking to take that next step towards playoff success and in order for them to do so, they need both John Wall and Bradley Beal playing at an elite level.
