“Flash” lands at the number 50 spot on our list after coming home and turning in a solid season for his Chicago Bulls. Dwyane Wade showed multiple times that he still has the offensive pop with 5 games of 30+ points and 21 games with 20 or more.
Even though he has lost a step, he was still impressive in the steals category with a 1.4 per game mark (25th in the league). His knee issues have robbed him of his lateral agility that made him a 3-time member of the All-NBA defensive team and his best days are behind him. However, when he was going well, he was impactful on both sides of the floor and provided valuable veteran leadership throughout the season.
Offensively, many saw Wade blow a few dunks but he showed that he can still be ice cold with some space as the Pheonix Suns found out.
We can expect Dwyane Wade’s production to continue to dwindle as he reaches the twilight of his career. The Chicago Bulls will likely part ways with him via trade or will allow him to finish the final year of his contract that he opted into before moving forward. However, Wade still provided us with enough pop to land himself at the number 50 slot.
