In a 104-97 win over the Magic on Monday night, Russell Westbrook recorded his 10th triple-double of his career. He padded the stats with 25 points, 14 assists, and 11 rebounds on a night where Kevin Durant was out with a sprained big toe on his left foot.

This is not to take away from Westbrook’s accomplishments. He distributed the ball very well with 14 assists that resulted in Dion Waiters racking up 24 points, and Serge Ibaka scoring 16. When asked about if he knew he was close to a triple-double during the game, he told ESPN.com:

“I knew we were winning.” He also had this to add about his performance, “For us to win, my job is to be able to make sure everybody is getting the ball and make sure everybody is in the position to score, and that was one of those nights,” Westbrook said.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are back to.500 at 24-24. They still have a lot of work to do to secure a playoff spot in the very competitive Western Conference.
