As reported by Igor Mello of CBS Sports and Gery Woelfel of Racine Sports, the Suns are now seeking a first round pick to move one of their three-headed point guard rotation, Goran Dragic. As the Suns lack depth in the front court, this move shouldn’t come as a complete surprise. This team is back court heavy which gives them some room to deal Dragic for a decent return.

There are a few teams that could really use a point guard of Dragic’s caliber. The Kings and Rockets are just two teams that come to mind. Goran Dragic has had two separate stints with Phoenix now and he’s the older of the three point guards. At 28 however, he could still be a very interesting asset for a lot of different teams.

Last season, he averaged 20 points and 6 assists per game. This year he’s averaging 16 points and 4 assists per game which is most likely due to the fact that they have Isaiah Thomas who is taking some of his minutes. Look for a deal to go down probably right at the deadline.
