In light of the news on Derrick Rose, the USA Today reports that free agent point guard Nate Robinson is interested in joining the Chicago Bulls again.

Robinson only averaged 5.8 points and 2.3 assists per game while playing with the Nuggets this season before he was traded to Boston. After being bought out in Boston, Robinson has yet to find a new home. What better place to go than Chicago where the fans loved watching his heroics off the bench. During the 2012-13 season, Robinson played all 82 games for Chicago since Rose was out with an ACL tear. He averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 assists per game for the Bulls in a bigger role.

The Bulls team in 2012-13 was quite different from the team now. Two big parts they didn’t have were Pau Gasol and a much improved Jimmy Butler. Since the Bulls are now desperate for a starting point guard, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring in a guy who has played there before and one who still knows most of the guys on the team.
