In this episode of Pump Fake to the Altar, Felix John-Baptiste and DJ Allen reflect on the accomplishments of the 2018 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame inductees. Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, and Ray Allen are just a few of the deserving individuals that were enshrined and received recognition. The story of the NBA during the first decade of the 2000’s cannot be written without the aforementioned individuals. With this class specifically, DJ remembers them being some of the best ever doing what they did:

“It’s kind of surreal, and it’s crazy, but I mean its high-level talent man. Two of the best point guards that I’ve seen play in Nash and Kidd. One of the best shooters ever in Ray Allen.”

We often are prisoners of the moment when it comes to sports. The latest phenom is the greatest phenom. However, we must remember these athletes at their peak. Ray Allen in particular, was always sensational:

Although each of the individuals played for multiple NBA teams, their production and leadership remained constant. Their names were already etched into NBA lure, and now they’ve been engraved in the Hall of Fame forever. A huge salute to their accomplishments, and their contributions to the game of basketball.
