Reggie Jackson has been traded to the Detroit Pistons.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to trade guard Reggie Jackson to the Pistons as apart of a three-way deal with Utah and Detroit. The Thunder will acquire disgruntled Jazz big man Enes Kanter, who recently voiced his displeasure with Utah due to lack of playing time, as well as Steve Novak and Kyle Singler and D.J. Augustin from the Pistons. The Jazz will acquire veteran big man Kendrick Perkins from the Thunder.

Jackson, who had requested to be traded from Oklahoma City earlier this week, took to Twitter to express how he felt about being shipped to Detroit:
Just woke up from my nap a #Piston #DETROITBASKETBALL!!!

Jackson averaged 12.8 points and 4.3 assists in 50 games this season for Oklahoma City, but recently saw his playing time diminished due to the acquisition of Dion Waiters. When the media asked Thunder star Russell Westbrook for his thoughts regarding the Jackson situation prior to the trade, this is what he had to say:
Russell Westbrook: “We have a chance of winning a championship and if Reggie is not here we still have a chance of winning a championship.”

According to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, the Jazz will most likely buyout Perkins’ contract, and a handful of playoff teams are believed to be interested, including the Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. Perkins averaged 4 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes per game for the Thunder this season.
Jackson, 24, will become a restricted free agent this summer, as will Kanter.
