iOklahoma City’s sharpshooter will be sidelined 4-6 weeks.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Anthony Morrow will be sidelined four-six weeks after spraining his MCL at practice Thursday, the team announced. Morrow will be re-evaluated in a week, but the typical recovery time from this ailment is four-six weeks according to Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City has been decimated by injuries this preseason, losing superstar Kevin Durant and rookie Mitch McGary for at least six weeks to foot fractures. Rotation players Reggie Jackson (wrist) and Kendrick Perkins (quad strain), hope to be ready for the Thunder’s season opener against the Portland Trailblazers on Wednesday.

Morrow, 28, signed a three-year, $10 million deal with the Thunder back in July. He averaged 8.4 points last year for the New Orleans Pelicans, and connected on 45% of his shots from downtown.
