The Minnesota Timberwolves will work out Monta Ellis, Brandon Paul and Brandon Rush, according to a report from The Athletic.

The Timberwolves signed veteran small forward Luol Deng on Monday. The team would need to go over the luxury tax to add another player.

Ellis is the most established player out of the three. The 32-year-old has career averages of 17.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 833 NBA games with the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers.

The scoring guard last played in the league during the 2016-17 season with the Pacers.

Rush has appeared in 481 games in the NBA and holds averages of 6.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists with the Pacers, Warriors, Utah Jazz and Timberwolves. He won the 2014-15 championship with Golden State.

Paul played his college ball at the University of Illinois. He went undrafted in 2016 and signed a multi-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. Paul was waived by the Sixers three months later. He signed with the San Antonio Spurs in July of 2017.

The 27-year-old has appeared in 64 games in the NBA with the Spurs and averaged 2.3 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists.
