According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Milwaukee Bucks have guaranteed the contract of point guard Kendall Marshall. The Bucks had until January before making a decision regarding Marshall’s contract situation.

Marshall was originally brought to the Bucks on a non-guaranteed contract, but the former North Carolina Tarheel had his contract guaranteed after impressing in training camp. Marshall will make $915,000 for the 2014-15 NBA season.

Marshall, 23, was acquired by the Bucks on a waiver claim in July after he was waived by the Los Angeles Lakers. Marshall revitalized his career with the Lakers last year, averaging a career high 8 points, 8.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game with Los Angeles.

Kendall Marshall was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 13th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
