When asked about the accomplishment, James had this to say,

“It’s an honor,” James said. “When I was growing up, you see these guys playing and you just hope that one day you can. I always had dreams about being able to play in the NBA, and seeing what Pat and those guys were doing in the ’90s with that New York Knick team facing the Pacers or facing the Bulls, or whoever they were going against, they were very tough-minded, and he was the cornerstone of the whole thing.”

LeBron James finished with 23 points in a 114-88 win over his old team the Miami Heat. Back on January 16th, James became the youngest player to score 24,000 points in a career. The next feat for LeBron is to pass Lakers great Jerry West who has 25,192 career points. It is going to be some time until LeBron is able to pass West, but one thing we do know is LeBron is far from done moving up this list.
