Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of the best passers in NBA history, so when you’re playing with him, you have to always be ready to receive a pass no matter where you are on the floor because James’ court vision is so incredible.

One of James’ new Laker teammates learned that the hard way, according to Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka.

Playing with James is going to be an adjustment for everyone on the Lakers’ roster. LeBron is arguably the most unselfish star of all-time and makes passes which resemble the ones Lakers legend Magic Johnson used to dish out during the Showtime days.

James signed a four-year deal with the Lakers this summer and is looking to bring the franchise back to prominence. Other than James, the Lakers’ starting lineup is up for grabs according to Pelinka, who says players will battle for starting positions in training camp.

The most intriguing battle figures to be at point guard, where Rajon Rondo and Lonzo Ball will be competing to earn the starting spot. Rondo signed a one-year, $9 million free agent deal with the Lakers. He spent last year with the New Orleans Pelicans and averaged 8.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 8.2 assists during the regular season, shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three.

In the 2018 playoffs, Rondo took his game to another level. He posted 10.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 12.2 assists per game and helped the Pelicans sweep the Portland Trail Blazers in the first-round.

Ball, who underwent surgery on his left knee this offseason, is expected to be ready for training camp. The former UCLA Bruin played in 52 games during his rookie season and averaged 10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.2 assists, shooting 36.0 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from three.
