LeBron James’ summer has been busy.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward signed with the purple and gold in the offseason, announced his new “I Promise” school in his native Akron, Ohio, is on the cover of NBA 2K19, produced a new Barbershop docu-series on HBO and receive a Fashion Icon Award last week during a pre- New York Fashion Week event  in Manhattan.

“He’s more business savvy,” Amare Stoudemire told me. “And I think this was a business move for him.”

His brand is shaping, he’s also got  television shows and films lined up for days like the pending Space Jam 2 movie.

“LeBron is definitely into the film space now,” says Stoudemire.

And well, King James will also play basketball next month. He’ll join Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram in LA.

They’ll have their hands full. The Warriors added DeMarcus Cousins to their already potent roster of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

How will they fare?

“As far as winning at the moment, I don’t think any team stands a chance against the Golden State Warriors,” Stoudemire weighed in.

“I think over time when you start to build the proper profile with the team, then you’ll be able to beat Golden State. But this year, it’s going to be extremely tough.”
