According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com, the New York Knicks have traded veteran swingman Travis Outlaw and a 2019 second-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for forward Arnett Moultrie. In addition to Outlaw and the second-round pick, the 76ers also received the right to swap future second-round picks in the deal.

Philadelphia is likely to waive Outlaw, and the Knicks have already waived Moultrie.

Outlaw, 30, has played 11 seasons in the NBA, with his most productive days coming as a member of the Portland Trailblazers. In 07-08, Outlaw averaged 13.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game with Portland. Outlaw has also had stints with the Clippers, Nets and Kings.

Moultrie, 23, was selected with the 27th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat. He averaged 3.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in two seasons with the 76ers.

The trade saved New York about $4.7 million in luxury-tax payments.
