Kevin Durant (32 points) and Stephen Curry (29 points) combined to score 61 as the Golden State Warriors trumped the Portland Trail Blazers 121-109 in Game 1 of their first round playoff series.

Golden State was paced by Durant and Curry, as well as Draymond Green, who finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, five blocks and three steals. Green took control of the game on the defensive end while Durant and Curry manned the scoring department.

Durant and Curry’s efforts were rivaled by that of CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard, who combined for 75 points, but majority of those came in the first half as Golden State ratcheted up their defensive intensity and began to hold Portland’s backcourt in check.

The series will resume on Wednesday at 10:30 PM ET inside of Oracle Arena, and then the series will shift to Portland for Game’s 3 and 4 which will take place on Saturday, April 22 and Monday, April 24.
