Basketball Society will be providing DFS recommendations for some of the lower priced players who should stand out. All of the prices are based off Draft Kings and we will be suggesting all players $5500 or below.

Here are some of our suggestions today:

PG/SG: Lou Williams ($5,200)

Lou Williams is averaging 14.3 points per game in just over 25 minutes per game. He’s shooting a woeful 28.9% from the field through three games and is coming off a 3-16 shooting performance against the Rockets. However, Lou is always liable to go off for an explosion in any given game. Our guess is he breaks out from that slump tonight against a Pelicans team that just gave up 129 points to those Kings in Sacramento. The Kings started three guards in the backcourt against the Pelicans. Yogi Ferrell, Buddy Hield and De’Aaron Fox shot a combined 15-26 from the field. Things look good for Lou.

SG/SF: Iman Shumpert ($4,200)

Iman Shumpert hit the 30-minute mark for the first time this season and it surely paid dividends. Talk about a stat sheet stuffer. His finishing line in the win against OKC: 26 points, three rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks. As one of the veterans on the team, he’s seemed to have found his role with this team. Look out for another productive night against Denver.

SF: Robert Covington ($5,500)

With a three-game slate, Robert Covington is one of the better finds at $5,500. As a ‘three and D” player, expect him to hit a couple from deep and get some steals tonight. He’s coming off a 12 point (3-5, 3FG), 4 rebound, 2 steal game against the Magic. He’s hit at least two threes and recorded at least four rebounds in each game this season.

PF: Marvin Bagley III ($5,100)

The Kings will definitely need to score the basketball against the Denver Nuggets, which should provide Marvin Bagley III with the opportunity to get shots up. He scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds against OKC in his last matchup. He’ll be looking to continue his strong play in the Mile High city.

C: Marcin Gortat ($4,100)

Marcin Gortat will be in prime position to have a battle on the boards with Anthony Davis. The Clippers will rely on him to at least put a body on Davis to ensure he is not in position for offensive rebounds. Expect his minutes to slightly jump from his current 19 minutes per game average, and you’ve got yourself an opportunity for production tonight.
