Washington Wizards center, Dwight Howard is on a mission to have a great NBA season. He’s even preparing for East Coast weather…in China.

Currently, in China, Howard took to Instagram live and made a trip to a shopping mall. While there, he went to a faux ski wintery mix element where he put on a winter coat and walked around before sitting on a ride that had the eight-time all-star suspended from the air.
Sounds like summer fun while also preparing for the East Coast elements in the Washington, D.C. area. Howard, a native of Atlanta Georgia has never played NBA basketball in a cold city with stops with the Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, and Charlotte Hornets.
The Hornets traded Howard to the Brooklyn Nets this offseason for Jeremy Lin. Howard and the Nets reached a buyout agreement with Howard Howard signing a two-year, $11 million deal with the Wizards.
“I think we’re going to have a beautiful season,” Howard said recently.
“I just think we’re going to shock a lot of people. Shout out to John for reaching out to me and asking me to join this team. No disrespect to any of the point guards I played with in my career, John is a different type of animal.”
Howard punctuated his arrival to the Washington Wizards in his introductory press conference when he gave an overview of his NBA career so far. “I learned Magic for eight years,” Howard said.
“Went to La-La Land. Worked for a while with Rockets. Learned to fly with some Hawks. Got stung by the Hornets. And it all taught me how to be a Wizard.”
Last season, for the Hornets, Howard posted an impressive 16.6 points and 12.5 rebounds with an impressive 55.5 percent field goal percentage.
With his move to our Nation’s Capital, perhaps Howard can perform a bit of wizardry to help his team in a wide-open NBA Eastern Conference.
